Melissa joined the company in 2004, as the director of marketing for SunGard’s trading businesses. During her tenure with SunGard, she held a number of senior roles in product management, marketing, sales operations, technology and risk management for its advisor workstation, order management system, trading network, trust accounting and retirement platforms. Upon the acquisition of SunGard by FIS, Melissa led the integration across the two companies’ combined lines of business in the global wealth and retirement sector. She subsequently ran strategy for those businesses. Most recently, Melissa led global strategy, product and commercialization for FIS’ Banking & Payments division.
Prior to joining SunGard, Melissa worked for the integrated marketing agency Spring, O’Brien as a senior account executive. Dawn Delaney serves as Vice President, FinTech & Innovation at J.P. Morgan Wholesale Payments within the Corporate Investment Bank. In this role, Dawn works with leading FinTech companies to integrate emerging technologies and solutions for clients within the merchant services and payment space.
Dawn joined J.P. Morgan in 1995 and has been a leader within the payments space and brings a wealth of industry experience to the firm. Dawn’s career has included serving in multiple roles in Wholesale Payments including Solutions, Business Development, Corporate Partnerships and Sales. Dawn has represented multiple industries including Digital, E-commerce, Insurance, Telecom and Financial Services.

Tiara Berry is a Senior Manager, Diversity, Equity & Inclusion and Community Partnerships at Fiserv, Inc. Gail Burgos was the Senior Diversity Officer of TSYS, a Global Payment company and Senior Vice President, Diversity Equity Inclusion, at 1st Sentry. Upon retiring after 25 years with TSYS, Gail started her own consulting company and is currently the CEO of Burgos Consulting Group, Inc.
Prior to retirement , Gail led Global Payments’ efforts to continue to build its inclusion and diversity efforts across the company. She previously served as the senior advisor to the chief information officer, supporting all business lines and aspects of the information technology business at legacy TSYS.
Gail received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Columbus State University, a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Troy State University and a doctorate in Organizational Theory and Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Gail currently serves as the Executive Director of Girls Inc of Columbus, responsible for after school and summer programming for girls ages 6-18. She also serves on the board for the Greater Columbus chapter of "Partners in Education" and Hope Harbor, a battered women’s shelter in Columbus Georgia, as well as on the board of PayTech Women, the premier professional organization for women in payments. Michael Canady is currently Vice President, Client Services & Global Operations for Discover Global Network. In this role, Mr. Canady has responsibility for leading DGN’s client experience and partner enablement efforts globally as well as providing operational support for the company’s commercial payments initiatives.

She oversees merchant acquiring and payment processing for over 30,000 merchants with $72B+ in annual sales volume.
Aditi has over 20 years of Financial Services experience within Transaction Banking and Payments. Since joining the firm in 2012, Aditi has been in diverse leadership roles across Merchant Services, Commercial Bank and Commercial Card. Most recently, Aditi headed the CIB Account Management team owning the service relationship across our largest, most complex CIB clients in Merchant Services. Professionally, Shelonda Darling is a self-proclaimed storyteller and will tell you that with so many stories to share…one job just isnt enough! So she has two… Corporately, she currently is a Senior Manager and product owner of a corporate intranet platform, supporting over 24,000 team members to foster communication and collaboration enterprise-wide. She has worked at Global Payments since 2011 in a variety of teams; including Training and Development, HR Communications, Employee Engagement, and Corporate Communications. She is also currently serving in the role of Co-Chair for the Global Payments Women’s Network.

Prior to The Clearing House, Tyson was at Discover Financial Services for 15+ years where he worked in New Products and Solutions, Business Development and Innovation. On the Discover innovation team, Tyson developed the payments innovation program and pipeline and oversaw the FinTech partnership to develop a secure payments gateway for automotive payments.

For 20 years, Whitney Stewart Russell has been focused on the ways technology can enhance consumer financial services experiences. Whitney’s combined expertise in consumer payment behavior, customer segment strategy, and retail banking products have prepared her for a leadership role at Fiserv. Whitney is currently tasked with guiding management of development of Fiserv’s Digital Banking and Digital Lending Solutions for banks and credit unions.
Prior to joining Fiserv, Whitney held executive positions at Higher One, SunTrust Bank and Discover Financial Services. She has also held senior management positions at Carreker, Bank of America, eFunds Corporation and Deluxe Corporation.

Millicent Tracey is a financial services product management executive with more than 20 years of experience assisting public fintech companies and start-ups develop B2B payments strategy. Her career reflects a demonstrated track record of leading strategic growth initiatives, advising on digital payments transformation and designing and delivering innovative technology solutions.
Millicent understands cyber and financial fraud risks and has developed risk mitigation strategies for digital payments products. She also brings governance experience through her advisory work with corporate and nonprofit boards, including audit and finance committees. Recognized as a thought leader, Millicent is a frequent speaker in the industry.
Abui is a Senior Manager in the Global Treasury Services practice of Ernst & Young LLP with over 20 years of consulting and project management experience implementing leading-class treasury technology for global organizations in both the public and private sectors.
She collaborates with companies to deliver strategic treasury management platforms that improve performance metrics and operational efficiency by supporting system selection, assessment, design and configuration, testing and training. Her treasury experience includes cash and liquidity management, cash forecasting, payment processing, bank account management, support with regulatory compliance (i.e., OFAC), internal controls, in-house banking, investment and debt management.
Abui has a SWIFT certification for corporates and is a member of the Association of Financial Professionals (AFP) as well as the Project Management Institute (PMI).
Ashley Usher is the COO and former CIIO at Fortis, bringing over two decades of experience in the payments and financial services sector. Usher holds seat on the board of MAU (MAU Workforce Solutions), a company that provides solutions for success in staffing, recruiting, and technology, playing into her strengths in both strategic development and creative problem-solving.
Even more, Usher is a two-time winner of the Global Payments Circle of Excellence Award for merger and acquisition transformation work and for internal business results. Most recently, Usher was included on CRN’s Women of the Channel list for 2023.
At Fortis, Usher has created the vision and seen through 10 integrations in the last two years, contributing to the company’s five-fold growth. She regularly heads major successes with partners, from implementing Fortis’s solution in record time to finding creative ways to process payments on short notice when a client’s system crashed.

Polly Van Duser is Vice President, Talent Acquisition at One Inc, a InsurTech/FinTech that is transforming the insurance space with their digital payments platform. Polly has more than 20 years of recruiting and talent identification experience including 15 years in Payments and FinTech building and leading Talent Acquisition teams with Greenings International, Bank of America Merchant Services, Heartland Payment Systems and WorldPay.
She dedicates much of her own time to organizations focused on empowering women and has led enterprise-wide Women’s Leadership Networks and is on the Executive Board for PayTech Women. Her love for championing others spans her professional and personal life where she serves as a coach and mentor for women.
Polly has a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Georgia State University and has her Senior Professional Human Resources (SPHR) certification.
She further demonstrates her commitment serving others with two other organizations. She and her husband are actively involved in Sleep in Heavenly Peace, where they build beds for kids who are sleeping on the floor. She also serves on the Board of LaAmistad, an organization committed to education, after school programs and camps for underserved Latino children.

Stephanie Watson is a Health Coach, wife, and mom of 2 boys. She has a bachelor’s degree in psychology and a Masters in Curriculum and Instruction. She is an Emory University Certified Health/Wellness Coach and she also attended the Institute for Integrative Nutrition.
After teaching elementary school for 6 years, Stephanie worked at Whole Foods Market for 3 years as a Healthy Eating Educator. She learned A LOT about how our food is sourced which completely opened her eyes. She is passionate about eating quality food whenever possible.
Stephanie has been a Health Coach for 7 years. She has worked in a school setting helping faculty and staff as well as a clinical setting. She believes that everyone has the ability to make small, sustainable, changes in order to achieve optimal wellness because life is too short not to feel good! Wellness really does feel good!
When Stephanie is not health coaching at STAT Wellness, she’s going on adventures with her husband and two boys. Nature is where everyone is happy! She tries to incorporate self-care into her day like practicing grounding, taking an epsom salt bath, calling her best friend, meditating, deep breathing, or spending time outside so that she can take care of others.

Leslie Williams has 25 years of experience in the technology sector. Fifteen of those years are in the payments industry. In her role as E2E Program manager, she oversees several parallel Merchant product teams across multiple lines of business and technologies which include Integrated Payments, Commercial Digital Payments, Biller Solutions, Merchant MSFI, SMB and Compliance. Leslie is known by her colleagues as a consummate quality champion and a staunch proponent of Agile Transformation.
Prior to FIS, Leslie has worked in technology for various sectors to include Energy, Gaming, Airlines, Retail and Telecommunications.

Kate Root has been leader in the payment processing industry for over 35 years. She obtained a wide range of experience having spent her career spanning from sales to managing payment acquiring divisions within Financial Institution's, Independent Sales Organizations and Payment Software Vendors.
Her experience varies with a concentration in the knowledge of industry standards, best practices, compliance and regulatory adherence as well as sales and sales retention. Kate was a key factor in the start-up of four bank acquiring entities. She has held seats on the Boards of several payment related organizations and volunteers on many committees as well. Kate understands and lives by respecting the precious value of a partnership.
She is currently the SVP/Managing Director of Chesapeake Bank’s Payments Division also known as Chesapeake Payment Systems (CPS).
