This year marks the 10th anniversary of the Women in the Workplace joint research effort by McKinsey & Company and LeanIn.Org, which began in 2015. As the preeminent and largest annual benchmark of women's progress in corporate America, the study continues to provide valuable insights.
For 2023, McKinsey gathered information from nearly 300 participating organizations employing over 10 million people. Additionally, employees at many of these organizations were surveyed about their workplace experiences, and interviews were conducted with women of diverse identities to further enrich our understanding.
In celebration of this 10th anniversary, McKinsey will present analyses on longitudinal changes in representation and employee experience since 2015. The session will also explore solutions and insights to transform the next decade of women's experiences in the workplace.
