Trade Show Do’s and Dont's: Session 1: Preparing for a Show

Session 1 launches a three‑part series on trade show success by focusing on the essential groundwork needed before you ever arrive onsite. This session guides attendees through defining clear event goals, setting measurable objectives and aligning those goals with broader company priorities. It also covers the critical logistics of budgeting, booth planning and team coordination to ensure every detail is handled ahead of time.

Participants will learn how to prepare effective pre‑show marketing and outreach to maximize visibility and schedule meaningful conversations.

By the end, attendees will feel confident, organized and ready to enter the trade show with purpose and a solid plan.

Dedicated to making a meaningful impact in the payments industry, Amanda Beam is a seasoned payments professional with more than two decades of diverse industry experience

As Vice President of Partner Relations at Exectras, she leads the Partner Relations teams, driving strong partner engagement and operational excellence. Amanda is known for her self-motivation, solution-oriented leadership style and positive outlook. She is passionate about education and industry advancement, earning her ETA Certified Payments Professional (ETA CPP) certification in 2018.

An active industry leader, Amanda serves on the ETA CPP Credentialing Committee, is Co-Chair of the PayTech Women California Chapter and sits on the Western States Acquirers Association Board of Directors. Her leadership and influence have been recognized through multiple industry honors, including PayTech Women’s “Lean In to Lead” Award (2021), ETA’s “Top 40 Under 40” (2022) and PayTech Women’s “Emerging Trendsetter” Award (2023).

 

Angela Summa

Angela is a seasoned business development leader with decades of experience across technology and payments. She has supported technology-driven and growth-stage organizations at companies including GoDaddy, Member Solutions, and Chargezoom, partnering closely with stakeholders to drive platform adoption and long-term revenue growth.

Her payments expertise includes leadership roles in strategic partnerships at Heartland Payment Systems, building on her experience with Constellation Payments and Jonas Software. Angela is also an active member of the payments community through her involvement with PayTech Women.

At Bead, Angela leads partner strategy and enablement initiatives, collaborating with ISOs, agents and payment partners to expand modern payment capabilities and accelerate portfolio growth.

 

Ashton Radican

Ashton Radican is a dynamic leader in the fintech and payments industry, currently serving as Vice President of Sales for LANDI Global (North America). With nearly two decades of experience, she has a proven track record of driving strategic growth, building high-impact partnerships and delivering innovative payment and commerce solutions across the ecosystem.

In 2025, Ashton was named a “Forty Under 40” honoree by the Electronic Transactions Association (Transact) and in 2026 received the Top Payments Sales Professional Award, recognizing her as one of the industry’s leading sales executives.

Beyond her corporate role, Ashton is deeply committed to industry advocacy and community service. She co-chairs the California Chapter of PayTech Women, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing women leaders in payments and serves as VP of Membership for Boys Team Charity in Roseville, California, supporting youth development and local philanthropy.

Ashton is known for her energy, relationship-driven leadership style and passion for helping partners grow and succeed in an ever-evolving payments landscape.

 

Jean Boling

Jean Boling is an accomplished business development leader with extensive experience driving growth and strategic partnerships in the payments and integrated solutions industry.

Currently serving as Director of Business Development at Xplor Pay, Jean leads initiatives focused on expanding market presence, cultivating key partnerships, and delivering integrated payment solutions across diverse verticals. Based in the San Francisco Bay Area, Jean plays a pivotal role in accelerating revenue growth and strengthening client relationships.

Prior to joining Xplor Pay, Jean was a Business Development Specialist at Global Payments Integrated, where she helped drive strategic expansion efforts and supported integrated payment partnerships. Before that, she served as Director of Business Development, Integrated Solutions at TSYS and PayPros leading business development strategy and building high-impact alliances within the payment's ecosystem.

With over 17 years of progressive leadership experience in fintech and payment technologies, Jean brings deep expertise in strategic growth, partner development, and integrated commerce solutions.
