PayTech Women celebrates and champions women in the payments and fintech industries. Founded in 2005 and celebrating our 20th Anniversary in 2025, we're the premier professional non-profit organization that empowers women to achieve greater personal success, influence and professional parity. By providing valuable resources and networking opportunities, we help ambitious women rise in payments.

With more than 6,500 members from more than 280 companies, PayTech Women (PTW) is diverse and continues to grow! Our members work in all aspects of the payments and fintech industry, from up-and-comers to established players, and are at varying levels of their career.

Rebranding: Same Great Organization, New Name

We are recommitting to our mission of creating a stronger and more diverse industry by empowering and investing in women.

PayTech Women will continue to provide the former Wnet programs and services that you have grown to know and love – the Leadership Summit, monthly Leadership Development Webinars, Mentoring, PayTech Women Live and so much more – to help women break through barriers to achieve their ambitions in the payments industry, however high those ambitions reach.

As we continue to grow and thrive, we created a name that represented who we are in the industry today and what we strive to accomplish for the future. PayTech Women allows us to better brand ourselves within the Payments and Fintech community to realize our vision of creating a world where a woman’s potential is as unlimited as her ambition.

Since 2005, PayTech Women has empowered women in tech and finance with the resources, connections and opportunities to rise, thrive and lead. Overturning of Roe v. Wade

At the core of PayTech Women is the vision to create a world where a woman’s potential is as unlimited as her ambition. The U.S. Supreme Court’s action to overturn Roe v. Wade is a profound change that deeply affects so many of us, especially women. PTW respects differing views on this highly emotive and personal topic. Read our full position statement here.

History

Wnet Founders

PayTech Women, formerly Wnet, was founded in 2005 by Linda Perry, Diane (Faro) Vogt and Holli Targan as a networking forum for women in the payments acquiring industry. Their goal was to provide opportunities for women in the industry to connect, share resources and support each other to grow and achieve career success.
