PayTech Women Releases 2022 Annual Report and New Identity Video

Non-Profit Celebrates Milestones and Shares Vision for the Future of Diversity in Payments Technology

 
KENT, Ohio – March 30, 2023 – PayTech Women, formerly Wnet, the premier non-profit organization helping professional women rise in the payments and fintech industries, has released its 2022 Annual Report highlighting record growth and its commitment to creating a stronger and more diverse industry by empowering and investing in women. Additionally, due to recent rebranding, PayTech Women (PTW) also unveiled a new member video, PayTech Women: Who We Are.
 
PayTech Women, formerly Wnet, 2022 Annual ReportThe annual report provides an overview of PayTech Women's activities, accomplishments and impact during the previous year. It showcases the organization's commitment to advancing women in the payments and fintech industries, highlighting their initiatives, events and programs.
 
2022 Highlights:
  • 5,260 members, an increase of 27% over 2021, including:
    • 172 individuals, an increase of 39%
    • 162 male advocates, an increase of 56%
  • Record numbers in volunteer involvement & donations 
  • Record attendance at annual Leadership Summit, EmPowered by FIS
  • Continued increase in corporate partner support and members
 
PayTech Women Who We Are Video 2022The "Who We Are" video is short documentary-style video that showcases the diverse voices and experiences of PayTech Women members. It provides an inside look at their community and how they are empowering women to succeed and lead in the payments and fintech sectors.
 
"As we rebrand to PayTech Women, it's important to celebrate our accomplishments and showcase our commitment to advancing women in the payments and fintech industries," said PayTech Women Board President Kelly Beatty, Chief Performance Officer, FIS. "Our new annual report and 'Who We Are' video demonstrate the impact we've made in the past year and the strong community we've built."
