Miriam Wohlfarth
Co-Founder and Managing Director, Ratepay
Miriam is Co-founder and Managing Director of Ratepay. She is responsible for the areas of Innovation, Marketing and Sales. With almost 20 years’ experience in online payment, she was most recently Country Manager Germany of the international payment service provider Ogone (Ingenico Payment Services). Prior to that, she played a significant role in establishing the electronic payment transaction business for the Royal Bank of Scotland (RBS) and its payment services subsidiary Bibit in Germany.

Debbie Crawford
Vice President, Acquirer Management, Europe, Mastercard, UK
Debbie has been working in payments for over 30 years, having started her career in acquiring at HSBC Merchant Services before she “flipped” sides and joined Tesco Stores, where she was responsible for managing all payments for all Stores and the Dot.com business. During her time there she was a key player in the introduction of chip and PIN and was part of the team that worked on the launch of Tesco Direct. She was also a member of the PCI Security Standards Council Advisory Board, representing the view of European Merchants. This was followed by a stint at Visa Europe where she established the Acquirer and Merchant team, before moving to her current role at Mastercard.
Debbie is a Goodwill Ambassador for the European Women Payments Network and a Girl Guide leader. She is actively encouraging young girls to take positive steps to raise their voices and change things for the better.

Vanessa Manning

Vanessa Manning has over 21 years leadership experience in commercial and wholesale financial services in transaction banking. She has held regional and global leadership roles across Sales, General Management and Global / Regional Product across Global Cash & Payments, Liquidity FX Management gained through the global institutions of ABN AMRO, RBS, Standard Chartered and most recently, Deutsche Bank.
She has a strong track record in building & developing scalable bank to client ecosystem platforms & solutions with established technology and new to market fintechs, using her deep expertise in clients B2B2C commercial, financial and operational processes.
Vanessa is an active member of institutional Diversity & inclusion initiatives, an active member of UK and European Women in Payments fora and is a motivated mentor and mentee. She is an avid optimist about the role of technology and payments to drive financial inclusion, democratized financial services and education.

Beatrice Bouju is a global remittances executive with senior management experience and a solid track record in client delivery and revenues generation. Beatrice joined the payments industry 20 years ago, leading Western Union’s corporate solutions in Europe and leveraging parent company First Data for global reach. She subsequently drove RBS Natwest Markets’s transactional FX proposition in Europe and globally. She is currently building up the payments-related FX practise of a large technology company.
Beatrice has led multi-cultural, multi-functional teams in the EMEA and in the US. She has a deep understanding of investment and commercial banking as well as acquiring and alternative payments’ space.
Beatrice is an Executive Board member of EWPN. She is a keen advocate of diversity, including women’s representation in the corporate world and equal pay.
