July 20, 2022 - PayTechWomenLead
How to Shine as a Panelist

Did you attend PayTechWomenLead Part 1: Intentional Branding and Part 2: How to be a Great Individual Speaker? Receive a FREE Registration for Part 3: "How to Shine as a Panelist." Plus, you’ll earn your 2022 LEAD Certificate.

Participating on a panel – whether internal or external – provides a great opportunity to showcase your expertise and increase your comfort level and confidence as a speaker. Because panelists are guided by a moderator and interact with other subject matter experts, a panel is a low-risk way to share knowledge and unique perspectives, increase visibility and build credibility, which are important for individuals who want to stand out and advance their career in today’s competitive environment.

But all panelists are not created equal. There are ways to prepare so you can be a good panelist, one who is engaged, adds value and leaves the audience feeling better informed.

In this session, Discover's Michele Weber, MSC, will share how to:

  • Identify panel opportunities
  • Prepare once you have secured a spot
  • Move beyond simply answering questions to sharing thoughtful, intentional messages
  • Support the moderator to ensure a successful panel
