Rise & Thrive: Self-Care for Women

This Rise & Thrive: Self-Care for Women event, aligned with the mission of PayTech Women, is designed to empower women to prioritize their well-being while advancing personally and professionally.

Participants will engage in meaningful discussions centered on RISE, THRIVE, CONNECT and DEI, gaining tools to enhance confidence, growth and inclusion. The session will provide practical strategies for managing stress, improving work-life balance and sustaining long-term success.

Attendees will also have the opportunity to connect with like-minded women, fostering a supportive and empowering community. The webinar will conclude with a guided yoga session to promote relaxation, mindfulness and overall wellness.

Speakers:

Dr. Kathryn Knill
Regional Clinical Wellbeing Specialist
MedStar Health 

Dr. Kathryn Knill, DNP, RN, APRN-CNP, NBC-HWC is a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner and National Board-Certified Health & Wellness Coach whose work bridges hematology/oncology, palliative care and clinician wellbeing. She serves as a Regional Clinical Wellbeing Specialist with MedStar Health and maintains clinical practice in Palliative Medicine at MedStar Georgetown University Hospital. Kathryn earned her BSN and MSN from Ursuline College, specializing in Hospice and Palliative Medicine and completed her Doctor of Nursing Practice at The Ohio State University, where her doctoral work focused on clinician burnout and wellbeing. A published researcher, professor, and national presenter, she is also certified in Emotional Intelligence, integrating EI and values-based leadership into her work as a clinician, researcher, coach and colleague.

Kathryn directs the National Nurse Wellbeing Consortium and serves as an Ambassador for the Dr. Lorna Breen Heroes’ Foundation, advocating to reduce stigma and expand access to mental health care for healthcare professionals. She also partners with Blood Cancer United, supporting survivorship education and helping individuals learn how to live well with cancer.

In addition, she is a dedicated advocate for women’s health, with a focus on endometriosis, working to elevate awareness, reduce diagnostic delays and amplify patient voices. At the heart of her work is a belief that connection is our most powerful intervention, guiding her commitment to compassion, presence and sustainable wellbeing for both caregivers and those they serve. 

 

Bamn Ford
Founder
Stronger With Bamn

Bamn Ford is the founder of Stronger With Bamn, a wellness platform built on the BAMN mindset—By Any Means Necessary. With over a decade of experience, Bamn is a Certified Personal Trainer and Functional Range Conditioning specialist known for integrating strength, mobility, and sustainable performance.

His work includes collaborations with lululemon, Adidas, Atlanta Run Club, and wellness professionals across multiple disciplines. He is also the creator of Keep Moving, Keep Breathing, a HIIT and strength training experience blending intensity, breathwork, and recovery.

Through Stronger With Bamn, he leads a growing community centered on movement, resilience, and purposeful living.

Dr. Beverley Boothe is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in the State of Virginia. She established Life Enrichment Counseling Center, Inc., in 2005, a group practice serving children, adults and families in three locations in the Northern Virginia and DC area.

She is the founder of Marriage Healing Center, LLC., a group practice that serves couples who desire to improve their relationship. She established GrowingMyPractice.com to help clinicians start and grow their own private or group practice.

Ms. Boothe has over 20 years of experience in the social services field. She has provided supervision, mentoring and training to non-licensed and licensed clinicians. Ms. Boothe is passionate about serving the needs of both clients and mental health professionals alike.
