Weston Hefel is a Partner at Payteva, a payments and point-of-sale solutions provider focused on helping small and mid-sized businesses optimize how they accept and manage payments. Based in Iowa, he works closely with merchants across hospitality, retail and service industries, leading sales strategy, partner development and portfolio growth through a consultative, results-driven approach.

Weston’s career in payments began on the front lines of merchant services, where he quickly developed a deep understanding of pricing structures, interchange and the operational challenges business owners face. He has since built a reputation for helping merchants implement dual pricing, cash discount and compliant surcharge programs, with a focus on practical execution, regulatory awareness and long-term sustainability.

In addition to his work with merchants, Weston leads initiatives supporting independent agents and ISO partners, helping them scale their portfolios and build recurring revenue streams. He is known for his direct approach to payments education and his ability to simplify complex topics into clear, actionable strategies.

Weston is an active contributor to industry events and discussions, where he shares insights on pricing transparency, POS innovation and the evolving payments landscape. He is passionate about challenging outdated models and equipping both merchants and sales professionals with a clearer understanding of how payment economics impact their business.

Fun fact: Weston spent 8 years as a server at a high-end steakhouse to get through college. I’ve lived the problems I now help restaurants fix.

 

Patrick Lepage
Product Implementation Specialist

Patrick Lepage is a product implementation specialist at Paysafe. He started his career with Paysafe in the technical support call center in 2007. In his 18 years at Paysafe. Patrick has also been a member of the new account installations team, managed the file build team and was a SME technical trainer before making the move to the product team.

As a product implementation specialist Patrick handles the roll out of new products and services, provides vendor management to ensure product features are up to date and manages several product feature sets such as Paysafe’s cash discount, dual price and surcharge programs. Patrick enjoys spending his free time with his family and friends and loves being outdoors coaching, golfing, hiking or enjoying warm days at the beach. He is from Thousand Oaks, California.

Fun Fact: Patrick coaches’ softball at the local high school and has been coaching for 9 years.

 

Jason Noto
Payments and Fintech Attorney
Polsinelli

Jason Noto is a nationally recognized payments and fintech attorney at Polsinelli and a go-to advisor for complex, high-stakes payment programs across the ecosystem. He works at the intersection of banks, payment processors, fintech platforms and merchants, helping clients build, scale and defend money movement systems in some of the most highly regulated and rapidly evolving areas of the industry. Jason is particularly known for his work in card network compliance, customer fee programs (including surcharging and convenience fees), embedded finance and high-risk verticals such as gaming, crypto and emerging payment models.

Prior to private practice, Jason held roles within global payments companies across risk, compliance, product and commercial functions, where he was directly involved in designing and launching payment programs for major platforms and enterprise clients. He brings that operational perspective to his legal practice, translating complex card brand rules and regulatory frameworks into clear, executable strategies that align compliance with business growth.

Jason is a frequent speaker and author on payments topics and is widely relied upon by banks, fintechs and payment providers as a strategic advisor navigating the evolving payments landscape.

 

Stephanie Meyers
System Manager
CommonSpirit Health

Stephanie Meyers brings over eight years of healthcare payments experience to her role as System Manager for CommonSpirit Health’s Treasury Payment Card Team. She oversees daily patient and non-patient payment operations, manages key vendor relationships and leads initiatives that drive efficiency and innovation across the organization.

An active payments industry leader, Stephanie serves as a Special Interest Group leader with the Merchant Advisory Group and is engaged with the Women in Payments network, supporting collaboration and mentorship across the field. She also serves as a Merchant Board member with PaymentsEd, partnering with leadership to advance payments innovation and education.

 

Wendy Wootton
Executive Partner Director
Paysafe

Wendy Wootton is a payments industry leader with more than 20 years of experience, currently serving as Executive Partner Director at Paysafe. Based in Silicon Valley, she works closely with Paysafe’s top U.S. Executive ISO partners in the SMB space, leading sales strategy and driving portfolio growth through collaboration, strategic alignment and long term partnership development.

Wendy’s payments career began at Seagate, where she supported the launch of the company’s B2C eCommerce business, building a foundation in global payments, fraud management and compliance. She later joined JPMorganChase Payments as a Vice President, Senior Relationship Manager, managing a portfolio of large merchants before moving into a Business Operations Manager role, leading teams that resolved complex merchant issues from SMB to Enterprise environments. She also gained experience working with payments focused startups, including a Canadian VAR and a U.S. cannabis payments provider, before bringing her expertise to Paysafe.

Wendy is a Paysafe Corporate Champion and Co Chair of the PayTech Women California Chapter and is recognized for her integrity, passion for educating others, service oriented leadership style and ability to build trusted, high impact relationships.
