November 9 was the first event for the resurrected PTW Houston Chapter, with a special event held at Houston’s City Centre!
Attendees started the evening with a pre-shopping event at Kendra Scott with sales helping to fund the re-launched Houston Chapter. Kendra Scott also provided an online code to distribute to the whole PTW organization (and beyond) for 2 days with 20% of all proceeds going back to the chapter.
Post Kendra Scott shopping, a dinner/happy hour was held at Brio Italian Grille, a local restaurant. Participation from various local companies brought hopes of building additional partnerships for future events.
“We are energized to build the Houston Chapter into a powerful force for women and the journey to help our members achieve greater personal success, influence and professional parity. We are better and stronger together!
”
The successful LinkUp was hosted by Houston Chapter co-leads Amanda Hottel of JPMorgan Chase; Nancy Decker Lent, Account Executive; and Nataline Oelkers and Tiffany Mattio of Discover. The chapter’s mission is to empower, elevate and advance women’s careers in payments and fintech industries through four foundational pillars: Volunteerism, Networking, Growth Initiatives and Professional Development.
