PayTech Women Chapters have been busy this fall, hosting a variety of engaging events. From networking opportunities to professional development workshops, these events have provided valuable insights and connections for members. Salt Lake City kicked off the season with a networking event in October, sponsored by Chargezoom. The event brought together industry professionals to connect, share insights and learn about the latest trends in payments technology. Toronto followed suit with an exclusive Rock Your Profile event in early November sponsored by Interac Corp. The session was led by LinkedIn talent acquisition experts and a recruiter from Interac Corp., who shared invaluable insights from building standout LinkedIn profiles and crafting compelling summaries to job search tips. Participants gained actionable strategies to enhance their personal brand and attract recruiters’ attention. To complement their session, Jeremiah Jekir Photography was on hand, taking professional headshots. The event drew an engaged audience, including 20 first-time attendees, who left equipped with tools to elevate their professional presence and learn what recruiters look for when searching for top talent. Omaha-Lincoln embraced the holiday spirit with a festive Jingle Mingle in mid-November. More than 30 industry professionals gathered at the Old Mill Lounge for a night of fun, food and networking. Sponsored by Fiserv, the event featured a taco bar, popcorn bar, cookies and a toast to round out the event. Atlanta tapped into the latest trend of color analysis, hosting an event at The House of Colour in Canton, Georgia. Attendees learned how to leverage color analysis to enhance their personal brand and dress for their style archetype. California expanded its reach to the northern part of the state by hosting an event in the Sacramento area. The event drew more than 45 attendees from 30 different companies and featured keynote speaker Jessica Winkelhausen Smith, who shared insights on the 7 Elements of Health and Wellness, helping attendees balance their professional and personal lives.
