Val is a Managing Director, Global Head of Sales Success in J.P. Morgan Payments. She is a seasoned leader with a robust track record in driving business transformation and client success. Her focus ensures consistent client interactions and enabling sales success, leading to business growth.
Val joined J.P. Morgan in 2017 with Merchant Services and became the Head of Liquidity & Account Solutions for the Americas in 2021. Her leadership was crucial in navigating a rapid USD rate cycle and implementing the GLASS roll-out, earning her recognition for transforming the team and enhancing the product management framework.
Previously, Val held significant roles in Global Payments, including Head of Integration and Client Relationship Management (CRM) Product Management, where she led the CRM strategy for Wholesale Payments and integrated InstaMed into the firm. Her career also spans impactful roles at Citibank, GE Capital and McKinsey & Co., working across consumer and institutional businesses globally.
Val is a former professional tennis player, she holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering and a Global Executive MBA from Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. Her passion for sports and travel is matched by her commitment to unleashing her full potential to help businesses, communities and individuals do the same.
Born in Argentina and naturalized as a Mexican and as of 2023, a US citizen, Val is proud of her diverse heritage. She shares her home with her husband Gabriel and their rescued furry crew of three dogs and four cats. Val is also known for her love of making Limoncello at home, following her Italian family recipe.

Gail Burgos was the Senior Diversity Officer of TSYS, a Global Payment company and Senior Vice President, Diversity Equity Inclusion, at 1st Sentry. Upon retiring after 25 years with TSYS, Gail started her own consulting company as the CEO of Burgos Consulting Group, Inc.
Prior to retirement, Gail led Global Payments’ efforts to continue to build its inclusion and diversity efforts across the company. She previously served as the senior advisor to the chief information officer, supporting all business lines and aspects of the information technology business at legacy TSYS.
Gail received her bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from Columbus State University, a master’s degree in Human Resource Management from Troy State University and a doctorate in Organizational Theory and Leadership from the University of Phoenix. Gail is the former Chief Executive Officer of Girls Inc of Columbus, responsible for after school and summer programming for girls ages 6-18.
She also served on the board for the Greater Columbus chapter of "Partners in Education" and Hope Harbor, a battered women’s shelter in Columbus Georgia, as well as on the board of PayTech Women, the premier professional organization for women in payments. She is also an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
