Are you attending the upcoming PayTech Women 2024 Leadership Summit? Would you like to volunteer during the Summit and help make the event a reality? Join us in the fun and excitement behind the scenes and make connections with your peers in an authentic and interesting way.

Volunteers will be contacted closer to the Summit with specific times and confirmed assignments.

Note: You MUST be attending the conference to volunteer. Please note the date and time of your signups so they do not conflict with each other, with PTW sessions or events that you want to attend or with other responsibilities. Some volunteer positions may require long periods of standing or heavy lifting.

Volunteer Opportunities:

  • Bag Pickup:

    Assists with handing out complimentary tote bags to attendees who approach the bag pick area. Each attendee will receive one bag with admission to the conference.

  • Bag Stuffing:

    Assists with setup for conference bag stuffing assembly line and adding materials to conference bags.

  • Bag Stuffing Captain:

    This is a physical /position requiring ability to lift boxes, move rolling bins and move around the tote stuffing area. Overall, this position requires the volunteer to: Help organize the setup of the tote stuffing area; Get teams organized and explain the assembly line process; Restock insert items to lines, as needed; Open boxes, break down and discard empty boxes; Jump into a line as necessary; Move full rolling bins and replaces with empty bins for totes; Assist any team members, as needed.

  • Wayfinder:

    Assists with helping attendees navigate their way between the two conference venues and find their seats in the general session rooms.

  • Room Greeter:

    Welcomes attendees at the door as they enter the breakout session and helps them find a seat. Responsible for redirecting attendees to another session if their room’s session is full. Also responsible for giving PayTech Women staff the number of attendees in each session.
  • Room Hosts:

    Helps with the general and workshop sessions. Assists speakers as needed during the session, introduces the presenter(s), provides a microphone for attendees with questions. Each room host will also help keep time when sessions are close to ending and give closing housekeeping comments.
  • Session Note Takers:

    During each general session and breakout sessions, assists with writing recap summaries for our PayTech News e-newsletter. Session note takers will take notes, capture quotes during each session and provide a draft of a 700-1100-word article within 7 days of the conference.

 

All volunteers are asked to attend one virtual event prep meeting that will be held in early September before the event.
